Placed an online order on the promise of next day delivery (it was a gift). No sign of it, DHL don't even have it! Useless

Extremely disappointed

I purchased a Joe Malone Pomegranate Noir perfume from John Lewis. I have been using it for months. I can spray loads and loads of purfume on and within 10 mins you cannot spell a thing. I have asked other people if they can smell it and no one can. Some of my other perfumes for £20 are a lot lot lot better. My boyfriend had the same perfume and his seemed to last really well. Im just so disappointed as the perfume was over £100!

FANTASTIC COMPANY

I am really struggling to understand all the negative reviews??
I have previously left a review for the Pomegranate Noir Diffuser , An excellent product .
Today I decided to wear the Pomegranate Noir Perfume ( First time!!! )
What can I say?? I had a couple of the matching body cream sachets ( samples) I put those on first, I always moisturise before putting on perfume as i know from Chanel that it stays far longer on moisturised skin.
Well it's now been on for eleven hours ....and I can still smell it ...as can my husband. I have never had a bad experience either online or in person with this company. I LOVE high end luxurious products , and, if I am paying top dollar , I expect service to match !!
Jo Malone has NEVER disappointed me!!

Better service at Poundland

Every time I use the online service I encounter a problem and judging by these comments I am not alone. Ordered a gift as part of my daughter’s birthday present and selected next day delivery, item was not received by the due date but I was still in time for the birthday so at this point was not a problem. The problem came when I opened what did seem a small box and found only one of the two items ordered. There was no gift wrapping as requested and one item missing. After multiple phone calls I was told a replacement would be sent out (had to fight for next day delivery you wanted to send it on 4-5 day carriage) I was told the item would be with me by 2nd September. 2nd September arrives but my parcel doesn’t. More calls to Jo Malone who assure me that I will receive it over the weekend. Guess what? Weekend arrives but not my parcel. More calls to Jo Malone who assure me it will be with me today. My daughter’s birthday has been and gone and as she lives away I won’t see her for a few weeks to give it to her. I make a fuss of people on their birthdays so it’s been a very disappointing experience. I love the recorded message which says how they monitor calls for training purposes to ensure customer satisfaction I think these must be monitored by the same people who forget to pack items. You consider yourself an upmarket brand but fail to provide the service the two go hand in hand. Customer service operators are polite but lack interest I think they deal with so many complaints they all merge in to one. Jo Malone you need to invest heavily in training. 💯 fail on every level would get better service at Poundland. Customers have a choice and judging by all the negative reviews you won’t be part of these choices if things don’t improve. Tip to anyone reading if you need a birthday gift order it a year in advance.

Cannot meet their commitments

Orser placed, agreed delivery date all online - order date was several days away. No updates to say order would be late, needed me to contact Jo Malone directly to advise them of this, they had no idea, they don't.moniotr if their parcels have been delivered on time. Said it would be delivered that day. Contacted them again and advised it was still at Depot and they then apologised said they didn't know when it would be delivered. Asked for them to cancel order and they have advised that refund will take 7 days. No heartfelt apology - they lack empathy and any customer service skills. Would not recommend using them. Avoid at all costs! One of thr worst online expereinces ever, missed giving the gift as a present for a birthday and now £200 out of pocket and need to buy another gift. Truly dreadful service.

THEY RIP YOU OFF THEN GHOST YOU!

Jo Malone delivered an item to me in Switzerland that was not only faulty, but also mailed improperly in that I received a customs bill (it states on their website this should not happen - all prices are inclusive of duties and taxes).

I emailed them and asked them to please pay it, but (of course, read the other reviews) no one replied. So I had to pay import taxes since the bill was due. I then e-mailed Jo Malone asking them to at least reimburse me. Of course, no reply to that either.

Jo Malone, don't even bother replying to this asking me to email you - I have done this 5 times already! Just read one of my emails! My case number is 06413389 and my order number is 2115218196.

Other customers, avoid this sham website at all costs.

Terrible Online Packaging and Rude customer service

I always bulk buy Jo Malone stuff (easily spend hundreds per month) for gifts for friends and myself. For 2-3 times now, they have always sent me my bulk order of body creme all packed in one huge box. I am not happy with that clearly because I buy them as gifts for people like my son’s daycare teacher etc. so the next time I ordered which was on 20th August, I emailed their customer service requesting for proper boxes/bags as they were gifts. Response was you cannot customised whatever packaging you want unless you buy them in store. you just get dealt what you are given. Well that is just pure rude, I do not have the time to go in store as I am busy with work why do you think I buy gifts online at night. I have decided not to ever purchase from Jo Malone again and have posted this on my social media with approx 4k followers. This is disgusting service. Apparently jo malone is well known for bad online customer service.

Cologne does not last

Oud and bergamot cologne purchased for my husbands birthday, he had tried and loved it in a john lewis store. Ordered but so disappointed with it , smell wears off after an hour . Very expensive for a nice box and cologne with no scent first and last purchase. Sadly a very disappointed customer

Poor customer service

The customer experience at joe mallone very poor, they won't take payments over the phone, and they won't issue a credit note if you wish to exchange a gift. Really poor customer service, I wont be purchasing anything from them again.

Not what it used to be

I've been wearing Jo Malone for the last 12 years originally the Lime, Basil which I loved as I sprayed it in the morning for work and at the end of the day could still smell it, however I've noticed the last 2 bottles I purchased (Sea salt and sage & the Orange Blossom) I'm not sure what has changed but these wear off really quickly and at £55 for a small bottle I'm not sure I will be purchasing anymore which is a real shame.
